		In addition to specific training in the use of Barnes' products, Barnes regularly provides EMV chip card implementation training and hands-on chip consultancy for both business and IT personnel.  Whether migrating to chip cards for the first time, or introducing new personnel to the system, it is important that key staff receive a thorough grounding in the technology and the way it impinges on other aspects of the business. EMV Training Our standard two day course provides a thorough understanding of EMV chip cards for up to twelve people, and can be customised if required to suit the needs of individual organisations. The information is presented in a clear manner suitable for both technical and non-technical personnel. This course is suitable for Project Managers, Systems and IT Support staff, Development Engineers, Business Analysts, Fraud and Customer Service personnel and IT Security staff. Consultancy As well as, or instead of, the formal training course, our consultants' wide experience of the chip card industry can be used to assist and advise clients in the setting up and running of any or all of the technical and managerial systems associated with the issuing and processing of EMV payment cards.  e.g. Cryptographic key management, system design and review, business requirements definition and translation to card setup, project planning and team member role definition, and production/QA testing of the personalised cards.
