		In order to remain up to date with the latest requirements from EMV and the payment scheme operators, as well to take advantage of Barnes' ongoing development, it is essential to upgrade to the latest software.  Please note that only current software is supported by Barnes International Ltd. NB. CPT2000 and CAT3000 are no longer updated. With the introduction of CPT/CAT 3000v3, previous versions of the CPT3000 software will no longer be available to new customers; only version 3 will be supplied. CPT 3000 and CAT3000v2 test tool development is frozen at version 1.392.  Existing users will continue to benefit from support by Barnes International according to the terms of their license agreement, the test scripts will be kept up to date with specification changes but no new features will be added. Ongoing development will carried out on CPT/CAT 3000v3. CPT3000v3 and CAT3000v3 are the current products. Currently the test tool application is at version 3.20 and the EMV test scripts are at release 11. Contact Barnes for details of upgrading to CPT/CAT 3000v3. Please note that the EMV test scripts and the test tool application are updated separately, due to the dynamic nature of the chip card industry the test scripts require updating more frequently than the test tool itself. The version number of the application is shown on the title bar of the main screen and in the "Help/About" information.  In CPT/CAT 3000v3 Help/About also shows the release level of the installed test scripts.
